Ultimate Peace is a young organization, yet we have high hopes of spreading the joy of throwing a disc and playing ultimate on a global level, especially in areas where more understanding and cooperation are needed. Our first project was in the Middle East in April of 2009, where we gathered hundreds of Israeli Jewish and Palestinian children in Tel Aviv to learn together the fast paced, physically exhilarating team sport that distinguishes itself from other sports in revolutionary ways: personal responsibility, mutual respect between opponents, and fair play are prioritized over winning. We will continue the project in 2010 with a grander vision and wider support. Ultimate Peace is made possible by people like you around the world who believe in this worthy cause.
